TCR Class of 2011 has my heart

Teachers rallied today in Raleigh (say that three times fast), and it was big and it was cool. And we did a thing in Asheville for those of us who couldn't go to Raleigh. Here's an article about that. So today was pretty rad.

But the best part? The part that really speaks to the importance of public education? And reminds me why I love my job? This article was researched and written by one of my former students. And after the rally, I visited my hair stylist, another former student. And I just found out that another former student is going to be student teaching in the Science department at my school. All from TCR class of 2011.

And there’s not much that beats seeing those little kids you loved be amazing adults. Shout out to that favorite graduating class. Keep it up.
